Long beach Playaz set to release a new music video every month

Long Beach Playaz celebrate unprecedented increase in followers

Long Beach, CA, May 26, 2016– The Long Beach Playaz are aggressively positioning themselves at the forefront of Long Beach music by promising to release a new video monthly off their debut album PLAYAZSTYLE.  The Long Beach Playaz are celebrating an unprecedented increase in fans and followers throughout social media.  Their most recent release off the new PLAYAZSTYLE album “A Week Ago” sky rocketed in popularity reaching over 200,000 views on YouTube. The Long Beach Playaz have charted several times since they began in 2014.  The first single, “Hard to Find” placed #20 on the Weekly DRT report and #24 on Billboard chart in February 2015.

The Long Beach Playaz consist of PDO and Maccalicious Hank.  PDO is a legendary rap artist that mastered his skills at the world famous original KDAY; a ground breaking AM rap station based in South Los Angeles. Hank Norman aka Maccalicious Hank, a former USC All American Wide Receiver and Long Beach Poly Football Star is also a multi-talented entertainer.  Norman appears regularly as a comedic act at the Laugh Factory and is currently working on promoting his own comedy and spoken word show “Funny Muthafuccas”.   The Playaz are infamous for living a hard life style which included gang activity and drug use.  The lessons learned and the stories told by the Playaz provide a multifarious back drop to their music. PDO and Maccalicious Hank provide classic hip hop delivery, a definitive Long Beach sound and lyrics jam-packed with explicit content purposely constructed to push envelopes and uncover new territory of tales unspoken; until now.

Currently, more brazen tracks like “Airplane Flight” and “Blow Job” are causing major buzz on the underground rap scene. Long Beach Playaz are reveling in the massive increase of followers on social media, capitalizing on the access of DIY marketing and video production.  Boldly, PDO is ensures that the Playaz will not slow down, promising to release a music video every month to further expand their following.  The next music video “Stumbled on the Rap Game” will be released mid-June 2016.
